David Delruelle, artist from Brussels Belgium, is a traveler and collagist that uses old books and magazines to create his images. By collaging different elements from different sources, Delruelle creates a composition that, though isn’t exactly scientifically possible, looks hella realistic. I mean, if giant-sized monkeys existed, I would have totally guessed that a photo of a monkey crushing a plane would come straight outa a National Geographic magazine or something. Along with believable composition, Delruelle uses a variety of close up textures in each work, which absolutely fucks with my interpretation of depth. Which is awesome. Can definitely see these collages printed out huge and hung up so it covers an entire wall. That would be too dope.
